I obtained my MA in Classics at Ghent University in 2021 and am currently studying for a second MA in Historical Languages and Linguistics at the same institution. My research interests include narratology, textual criticism, and Greek palaeography, with a special interest in Byzantine poetry about grammar, in particular orthography. For my MAthesis research, I am currently focusing on Byzantine orthographical kanons and some issues scholars are faced with when editing these kinds of texts.
In September 2022, I worked as a student for MELA in close collaboration with dr. Elisa Bianchi, whom I have assisted in her palaeographic research project on glossae and scholia in the Moscopulean manuscripts of Sophocles, by double checking palaeographic data. This collaboration was a very enriching experience, in which I learned more about glossae and scholia and the way they are written and transmitted. It also allowed me to further improve my palaeographic skills, which will be very useful for my current research.
